SRHA GENERAL MEETING
MARCH 6, 2021
Meeting was called to order by President, Tom Beckmeyer at 10:00 AM. (meeting held via Zoom)
President asked for Roll Call – all members were present.
Secretary's report was read by Ruth Chewning, Secretary, and approved as read.
Treasurer’s report was given by Larry Caplinger, Treasurer. Balance in Treasury $5474.48 – CD $7590.47 – Legal Savings $2176.61 – Bingo $1780.23. Treasurers report was approved as given.
Meeting was turned over to Sharon Hurley who conducted the election of Officers and made motion to accept changes in By-Laws. Motion was made to approve changes in By-Laws by Rose Panella and seconded by Peg Thomas. Since no applications were submitted to run for positions on HOA Board other than current members, Officers for HOA Board will stay the same. One open position for Director remains. Motion was made to approve election by Peg Thomas and seconded by Sharon Hurley.
Meeting was turned back to President.
Rose Panella, Membership Chairman, told of her plan to encourage residents to join HOA. Posters will be made and posted around park. Members of HOA will receive discounts on events and entertainment. Advantages of joining the HOA will be published in April Toppings by Rose Panella.
Juanita Caplinger, President of Benevolent Fund, stated there was a need for volunteers to help with the Food Pantry. A Drop Box has been placed in Clubhouse so residents can donate items and money.
Larry Caplinger announced that AM VETS Post 44 will have a Food Drop to benefit our Food Pantry. He further stated that we would deliver the food and a hot meal to pantry people.
Our President stated that he hoped by September our General Meeting could be held at the clubhouse.
The Board discussed that Clubs were slowly opening back up.
Our President stated there was a need to have our golf cart repaired at a cost of $776. The Benevolence Fund would split this cost with the HOA. Larry Caplinger made motion to approve repairs to golf cart, and Jean DiBenedetto seconded this motion.
Rose Panella made a motion for meeting to be adjourned, and this was seconded by Larry Caplinger.
