SRHA BOARD MEETING - March 15, 2021

Strawberry Ridge HOA
March 15, 2021
The meeting was called to order by the President, Tom Beckmeyer, at 6:00 PM. The meeting was held via ZOOM.
President asked for Roll Call. All present except one – Jean DiBeneditto.
Treasurer’s report was given – balance in Treasury is $4961.86, the CD is $7590.46, Legal Savings $2017.11 and Bingo is $1780.23. Treasurer’s report was approved as read.
No Secretary Report was requested. Secretary report of meeting held on 3-06-2021 is posted on Blog.
President stated all repairs had been made on golf cart. Total cost of repair was $1040.00 – cost was split between HOA and Benevolence Fund.
President told of meeting with park manager, Keith Stevens. Discussion ensued about 911 phone, fire alarm system above stove in clubhouse. Fire alarm system throughout Activity Center and Clubhouse will cost apx. $20,000.00. Tom told Keith about the dirty carports in park, - they will address this issue when they make an inspection of park. Inspections will be started on April 1, 2021. Inspection will be made by Keith Stevens, Tom Beckmeyer and Larry Caplinger.
Mary Kendall stated next RAC meeting will be on March 23, 2021 at 7:00PM on ZOOM. Discussion of cleaning all streets in park will take place at that time, also enclosure on Meteor Place and fence behind homes on Choo Choo by the railroad. There will be a meeting with Cyndi and Bob Young. If Jean is unable to attend she will appoint as stand-in as liaison for HOA.
Rose Panella, Membership Chairman, sent at 41 membership renewals in the mail and has only received 2 back. She has 9 welcome bags ready to go. There are now 53 members in the HOA.
There was a discussion for the need for a new back-up battery for HOA office equipment. A motion was made by Peg Thomas to buy battery – not to exceed $100.00. Rose Panella seconded the motion. It was decided to spend $100.00 on new battery.
Ruth Chewning discussed the idea of having a Vendors Truck Fair at the park. Tom Beckmeyer stated he would see about having shredder truck come to park and have FLOW also here.
Larry Caplinger made a motion to adjourn the meeting – this was seconded by Peg Thomas. Meeting was adjourned at 7:30PM
