General Meeting
January 5, 2019
The Meeting was called to order at 10:06 AM by President Tom Beckmeier
ATTENDANCE: Present: Tom Beckmeier, President; Terry Brown, Vice-President; Jean DiBeneditto, Secretary;
Sharon McHenry, Treasurer; Debbie LeBlanc; Fred Pollman
Absent: Carol Pittman
MINUTES: There were no minutes for the November meeting.
TREASURER’S REPORT: Sharon McHenry read the treasurer’s report for the December 2018.
Motion made and seconded to accept the treasurer’s report as read.
All in favor Motion carried
NEW RESIDENTS: There are two new residents at today’s meeting: Donna Powell, of 509 Caboose Lane, and
Nancy Boyer of Choo Choo Lane.
ACTIVITY REPORT: FLOW bowed out for January but will be here next month for anyone who wants to renew their licenses or car tags.
Everyone had a great time at the New Year’s party.
Terry Young wants to start up the SR singers again.
Bob Casey wants to start up the Veterans’ club again. There will be a meeting on Monday evening for all veterans who want to join.
COMMITTEES:
Membership: Anyone who wants to vote in the election, must be a paid member by January 31.
Election: The 2019 election will take place on March 5. If anyone wants to be on the ballot, please let us know. The last time for nominations from the floor will be at the February meeting.
UPCOMING EVENTS: The Bridges will be here on January 9 for a “Sit and Be Fit” exercise. There will be cookie decorating in February.
Super Bowl Party on February 3. Tickets are $5.00 per person.
FLOW will be here on February 8
Vendor Fair will be on March 5
Mid-Winter dance on January 15
Movie Night is the last Sunday of the month.
Trash to Treasure is on October 12. Tables will be $10 pe table.
COMMENTS FROM BOARD MEMBERS:
People have been taking things out of the refrigerators. If anyone wants to use the refrigerators when they have an event should bring a lock and lock them up so nothing gets taken.
We may also need to change the locks on the HOA office door.
COMMENTS FROM RESIDENTS:
There is a plumbing issue on Pioneer Lane. Office should look at it.
Someone said that there are children living here with their grandparents.
ADJOURNMENT: Having no other business, a motion was made by Mary Kendall and second by Rose Panella to adjourn.
