General Meeting – November 4, 2017

The Meeting was called to order at 10:00am by President Dee Costoso.
Pledge of Allegiance
Board Members Present: Dee Costoso, Gerard Barbella, Kathy Beck, Dianna Bowers & Carol Pitman
September General Meeting minutes were posted and accepted (October meeting was cancelled)
Treasurer’s Report read by Dee Costoso
HOA Balance = $14,341.02
LEGAL Balance= 1,644.00
BINGO Balance= 2,795.12
ALLOTMENT= 1,627.33
CHECKBOOK Balance= 20,407.37
Kathy Beck reported $ 2524.36 income from Healthfest/2 vendors outstanding
Carol Pitman reported new total of HOA members 140
Business
- RAC – Gerry will meet with Bob Young on Nov 9th. Issues on the table to include discussion on safety
- Issues(doors,bushes,signs,etc.)and stage curtains.
- MEMBERSHIP – Carol’s HOA membership drive will include a “sign-up table” at meetings.
. BINGO – Dee has turned over the reins to Don Gugel .
. CERT – Rose Pannela addressed the “Yellow Dot Program” for January/American Red Cross & Fire Dept.

. THANKSGIVING – Mary Phillips and friends will host Thanksgiving dinner at 3:00pm for SR Residents at the
Clubhouse, free tickets available at the sales office
. UPCOMING EVENTS
- November 18th – tree trimming
- November 23rd – Thanksgiving Dinner at the CH
- December 2nd – Blood Drive sponsored by ONEBLOOD
- December 8th – St Andrews Methodist Church Choir Christmas Program 7-8:30 CH
- December 14th – Concert sponsored by Hillsborough Co Orchestra CH – free - $5 donations welcome
- December 25th – Christmas Dinner at the CH
- December 31st – New Year’s Eve Party with DJ Leo at the CH from 7PM to Midnight
- January 13th – Omelet Breakfast CH
Comments from Board Members
Dee thanked everyone for their patience as a new board comes together to learn, listen, and move forward toward a great new year. She suggested there be consideration to
distribute $$ to clubs from the general fund as in the past.
She said the topic of advertising and liability for community events will be addressed at scheduled meeting with Keith 11/6
A portable wireless sound system was purchased for $139.99 +tx for community meetings, dances, events, etc. She said the Stage Curtain proposal seemed to be a dead issue.
Kathy welcomed new ideas & suggestions from homeowners regarding future events,ads, marketing, blogs, etc. She reminded that ALL clubs, hosts, event planners need
Volunteers.
Comments from Residents
A resident requested ½ of vendor fee be refunded from Trash to Treasures event. Dee replied there can be no guarantee of income at this event.
Rose Panella said stage curtain issue was to be addressed at RAC meeting/estimates to Keith and Bob Young
One resident objected to $$ from general fund go to clubs
Rose Panella questioned amount of sales tax from ticket sales for Rockin at the Ridge was excluded. Dee will make those adjustments
